SIC Insurance Company Limited (SIC) has announced a final dividend of GH₵ 0.0511 per share for the 2023 financial year.
In a statement to the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), SIC outlined key dates for shareholders to ensure eligibility for the dividend. Shareholders registered in the company’s books by the close of business on Friday, December 13, 2024, will qualify for the payout.
The register of shareholders will be closed from Monday, December 16, 2024, to Tuesday, December 17, 2024, inclusive.
The ex-dividend date has been set for Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Investors who purchase SIC shares before this date will be entitled to the dividend, while those acquiring shares on or after this date will not qualify.
The dividend payment is scheduled for Thursday, January 30, 2025. SIC advised shareholders to take note of these dates to ensure they meet eligibility requirements.
