With just hours left before the swearing-in of Ghana’s Ninth Parliament and the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has nominated Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, as its candidate for Speaker of Parliament. NDC nominates Alban Bagbin in consideration of his extensive experience.
