LAfricaMobile raised $2.2M in Series A funding to enhance AI-driven communication solutions, expand across Francophone Africa, and strengthen its regional presence.

Senegalese cloud communication platform LAfricaMobile has raised an additional $2.2 million in its Series A funding round, bringing the total raised to $6.8 million. This funding will help the startup enhance its AI-powered communication solutions and expand its reach across Francophone Africa.

Founded in 2014, LAfricaMobile offers businesses tools to execute large-scale communication campaigns using various mobile technologies, such as SMS, USSD, voice, WhatsApp, airtime, and text-to-speech. The platform is designed to help businesses effectively connect with their audiences, offering diverse methods to deliver impactful messages.

Earlier in the year, the company secured $4.6 million in its initial Series A round, led by Janngo Capital. With the recent $2.2 million investment from Bpifrance, a French public investment bank, and private investors, LAfricaMobile plans to accelerate its R&D efforts, integrate advanced AI capabilities, and strengthen its regional presence.

With nearly 100 million transactions processed and operations in over 20 countries, LAfricaMobile serves more than 100 enterprise clients. The company is now positioned to be a leader in AI-driven communication, offering businesses scalable and precise messaging solutions.

This latest round of funding underscores LAfricaMobile’s commitment to advancing technology and expanding its influence in the Francophone African market, where demand for robust communication platforms continues to rise.
